Episode One! Exciting times ahead. We talk about Game of Thrones, incest, why the internet should shut the hell up about Anne Hathaway being Catwoman in The Dark Knight Rises, the Kinect being the beginning of the Machine Revolution, analyze Community and Parks and Recreation on characters, and make up a bunch of bullshit buddy cop movies.

Thank you so much for calling out The Big Bang Theory on being not only a terrible misrepresentation of geeks, but also a pretty bad show. It drives me crazy that is has been adopted as the show for geeks and people who want to get into geek culture. Beyond an incredible list of guest stars and the occasional well made reference, there’s almost nothing redeeming about the show.
Community does a better job of portraying nerds with Troy and Abed, but they’re also really over exaggerated. I agree that Parks and Rec does the best job with Ben Wyatt. He’s a nerd that can be vulnerable to stereotypical flaws, but is also just a normal person. He can actually talk to others without making an ass of himself (except cops), and he realizes how he may be rejected socially if he forces his geeky ideals upon others.
PS – Great first show guys! Looking forward to many more.
